Local authorities in Quintana Roo have confirmed that a fatal shooting occurred near the Tehmplo venue in Tulum during an event where Solomun was performing.
According to official information released by state authorities, the incident took place outside the main event perimeter on a nearby access road and was not directed at attendees inside the venue. One person was confirmed dead, with authorities clarifying that the victim was not an event guest.
Police and emergency services responded shortly after reports of gunfire, securing the surrounding area while allowing the event to conclude without further incidents. Officials stated there is currently no evidence of injuries among eventgoers and no indication that violence occurred within the venue itself.
The Quintana Roo prosecutor’s office has opened a homicide investigation and is working to determine the circumstances and motive behind the shooting, while urging the public to rely on verified information as details remain limited.
