Audio Obscura will be hosting a huge event to celebrate Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary

Taking place on the longest day of the year, Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary celebration will see a 15km section of the A10 Zuid motorway closed off for traffic as “Op De Ring” holds a massive festival with the participation of Dutch promoter Audio Obscura.

Despite the full line-up still to be announced, the Highway Rave promises “wild back-to-back” sets on the first setting of its kind, with a single stage set in place for this unique celebration on 21st of June 2025. Other festives will also mark the celebration including a 7.5km run, fashion shows, an orchestra performance, dance parades and floats, Heineken‘s very own cafe & much more.

Although tickets have completely sold out due to the event being free to attend, we are eager to see what the promoters will bring to life to celebrate the anniversary of such especial place to the electronic music community, home to various music festivals, artists and the vibrant Amsterdam Dance Event.
