AlphaTheta has officially unveiled the DJM V5, a next-generation three-channel mixer designed to bring professional sound quality and advanced creative tools into a more compact footprint. The launch marks a significant moment for the company, as the DJM V5 becomes the newest model in the V series and one of the first major mixers released fully under the AlphaTheta brand following the evolution of Pioneer DJ.
The DJM V5 inherits several headline features from the flagship DJM V10, including a four-band EQ, per-channel compressors, and a refined filter section offering smoother transitions and more expressive sound shaping. AlphaTheta has also included six built-in Send FX, such as Shimmer, Tape Echo, Reverb and Ping Pong, giving DJs more flexibility to add depth and movement to their mixes.
One of the most notable innovations is SonicLink, AlphaTheta’s new ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring system. This technology allows DJs to monitor their mix on compatible wireless headphones with minimal delay, removing the need for booth cables in certain setups and opening the door for a new kind of booth mobility.
The mixer is built around 96 kHz / 64-bit floating DSP processing and 32-bit A/D and D/A conversion, ensuring a clean, detailed sound that stays stable during long club nights. It uses 60 mm long-throw faders, high-durability components, and improved heat management designed for extended sessions in professional environments.
Connectivity has also been expanded. The DJM V5 includes two USB C ports, with one dedicated to the main DJ laptop and the second used for multi I O functions such as external FX and firmware updates. It also supports rekordbox and optional Serato DVS, LAN Pro DJ Link, Send and Return routing, and classic booth and mic outputs. This makes it suitable for clubs, mobile setups and tight DJ booths where full V10 space is not available but professional control is still required.
The DJM V5 is priced at approximately €1,999 / £1,739 / $1,999 depending on region, and is already listed by major retailers with availability starting late January 2026.
