Sad news ahead of Tomorrowland, which is due to start in 2 days. Videos and photos started doing rounds today around 17:30 GMT time, showing the main stage engulfed in flames. Many viewers had speculated if it was a case of mass AI mis-information, however it turns out that the news are sadly real, not great news for worldwide festival-goers who were looking forward to the first weekend of festives in Belgium.
Initially reported by VTM News & La Libre, the fire rapidly spread through the whole structure of the mainstage, with fireworks being heard in the background of most videos online. Although no official statement has been made by Tomorrowland as of now, we are hopeful that nobody was hurt due to this incident.
With as many as 70,000 attendees expected for the unique festival that should take place in the next two weekends, this is definetely some sad & unexpected news ahead of the gates opening on 18th of July.
