Michael Bibi returns to DC10 with his “no phones” policy

Michael Bibi has announced the return of his “no phones” concept at two dates of his DC10 Daytime Terrace events on 17th July & 21st August. With the ethos of enforcing stricly vibes, he shared that “what started as an experiment will continue this Summer”.

It is no secret that the topic is in constant debate around DJs and partygoers alike. The presence of mobile phone devices on the dancefloor has reached a point where most people aren’t even attending for the music anymore, but simply to share their full experience on social media – although to a point it is completely understandable, especially for everyone who relies on social media presence to present their work. However, should we draw a line at all?

Various DJs have raised their concerns around this issue, including Solomun & DVS1, who is a longtime advocate for fully experiencing the music and the enviroment rather than spending most of the night in your mobile device. Michael Bibi has already trialed the idea last year in Ibiza and it seems the effort has paid off, as people sharing their experience online post the event mentioned it was like none other, with vibes absolutely unmatched.

So, save the dates if you’re keen on experiencing this setting with Michael Bibi playing at the DC10 terrace this summer!
