Michael Bibi Marks Two Years Cancer Free and Continues His Mission to Give Back
Michael Bibi has marked two years cancer free with another heartfelt gesture of generosity. The British DJ and producer visited The Royal Marsden Hospital this week to celebrate his continued remission and to deliver a donation of £113,943.42 raised through his One Life shows and community support.
Standing outside the Oak Cancer Centre alongside hospital staff, Bibi expressed gratitude and joy, sharing that his latest scans confirmed he remains in remission for a second year. “Today was a good day,” he wrote — a simple message that resonated deeply with fans and the wider music community.
The donation will support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which funds research, treatment innovation and care for cancer patients. This latest contribution adds to a growing list of charitable efforts from Bibi since his recovery journey began.
Earlier this year, he donated over £120,000 from his One Life London comeback show to the same charity. He also raised over €56,000 from a surprise set in Ibiza for a local cancer foundation and contributed nearly £125,000 through the One Life Fund to build a library and provide essential equipment for cancer patients in Argentina.
These donations are part of Bibi’s larger commitment to using his platform for good. Since his diagnosis in 2023, he has become a symbol of strength, awareness and unity across the global electronic-music community. Through his One Life movement, he continues to inspire fans and artists alike to give back, support research and stay hopeful.
