The Prodigy have set the UK and Ireland’s electronic music scene ablaze with the announcement of their 2026 stadium tour, featuring the legendary Carl Cox as special guest. Following their electrifying return to Glastonbury, this tour promises to deliver a full-throttle rave experience that spans generations of dance music fans.
To make the tour even more special, Carl Cox will be on opening duties with a marathon two-hour set, wielding his iconic three-deck vinyl setup. This isn’t just a warm-up, it’s a full-scale rave from the moment doors open, channeling the raw energy of the original UK rave scene, so if you’re joining make sure you get there early! Cox himself describes the vibe:
“They knew me back when I was spinning hardcore rave on 3 turntables — and that’s the vibe I’m bringing back. New skool, old skool… this is going to be wild.”
For fans, this means a rare chance to witness Cox’s genre-smashing skills in their purest form, blending classic rave anthems with cutting-edge selections, all delivered on vinyl, a true homage to dance culture’s roots.
The Prodigy are promising a set packed with hits from across their seven UK Number 1 albums, alongside new material teased for the tour. Liam Howlett, the band’s mastermind, sums up the ethos:
“We’re bringin’ back that full experience of non-stop noise and beats from doors to getting chucked out… it will be that full Prodigy experience as it was then and how it continues to be now. And yeah, we’re droppin’ new tunes for the people. We’ve got our old friend Carl joining us, so expect full attack mode, factor 9… Let’s go!”
Originally announced as a 10-date arena run, the tour has already expanded due to overwhelming demand, with new shows added in Nottingham and Newcastle. The itinerary includes stops in major cities such as Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Leeds, London, Belfast, and Dublin, ensuring fans across the UK and Ireland can join the mayhem.
