Sunwaves Festival is officially back for its 37th edition, taking place from 30 April to 5 May 2026 on the Black Sea coast. The new location, still under wraps, will be revealed soon but one thing is certain: the festival remains committed to its roots in music, community and freedom.
Now entering its 19th year, Sunwaves continues to be one of the world’s most respected electronic music gatherings, known for its extended sets, beachside stages and unmatched dedication to sound. The upcoming edition marks a new era for the festival, as organisers Kristal Club and Sunrise push boundaries once again, promising a fresh experience beyond the traditional setup in Mamaia.
Pre-registration for blind festival tickets is already open, with early access priced at €49 + tax for full dance floor entry. Returning attendees from the previous Spring Edition will receive their festival pass as promised, continuing Sunwaves’ close relationship with its loyal community.
The team behind the festival describes this year’s event as “a celebration of electronic music, freedom, and the bond we share on the dancefloor” a message that resonates deeply within the culture. With an unshakable reputation for curating some of the best minimal, house and techno lineups in Europe, Sunwaves 37 is set to keep its legacy alive while writing a new chapter for 2026.
A project from the heart by Kristal Club and Sunrise, the festival once again invites ravers from across the globe to join in its journey where connection, sound and sand meet in perfect harmony.
