Sundance Expands Into a Four Day Festival on the Albanian

Sundance is stepping into a new phase in 2026, expanding into a full four day and four night festival on the Albanian coast. The event will take place from 9 to 12 July in Zvernec, a location that still feels relatively untouched compared to the usual European festival hotspots.

What started as Sundance Sunday events has grown steadily over the years, bringing together international DJs and a global crowd by the sea. Now, the concept moves into something bigger, turning into a complete multi day experience rather than a single day gathering.

This year’s edition will feature more than 50 artists across three stages, with music running around the clock. The idea is simple, a mix of international names and regional talent, without losing the identity that made the original events work.

But it is not just about the music. The festival also brings in curated food, art installations, pop up spaces, and a stronger connection to the local culture, making the whole experience feel more immersive rather than just another lineup.

With more festivals popping up in new destinations, Sundance is part of a shift towards places that offer something different. Albania is quickly becoming one of those spots.

If you are looking for something outside the usual circuit this summer, this might be one to keep an eye on.
