In a shocking (and surprisingly modern) twist, Berghain has quietly partnered with Tinder Gold, launching an exclusive “Fast-Track” entry system for those who match with infamous doorman Sven Marquardt.
According to anonymous sources close to the club, the move is part of a wider effort to “modernize the entry experience” while “keeping the mystery alive.” The catch? You must match with Sven on Tinder Gold, and your profile must include at least three of the following: a moody black-and-white selfie, knowledge of obscure German techno, zero photos from Mykonos, and a visible disdain for phone usage.
“We wanted to make it easier for people to feel emotionally crushed before they even reach the door,” Sven reportedly told a fan, “Now, we can swipe left on your soul from miles away.”
The feature went live at midnight on April 1st, and Berghain hopefuls across Berlin were spotted furiously swiping right, camping out near the club in hopes of getting an algorithmic match.
Tinder has not officially commented, but users report a sudden surge of profiles tagged “Will swipe right for Berghain.”
The club has allegedly also started beta testing “Berghain Premium Plus”, a new feature that offers you a 1% better chance of entry if you agree to delete Instagram for a week.
Until then, good luck — and don’t forget to moisturize before your selfie with Sven.
