Anna Miranda, better known as ANNA, has carved a unique path in the music industry over the past two decades. Her journey began at the tender age of 14, inspired by the repetitive sets she heard at her father’s nightclub in São Paulo. Convincing her father she could offer a fresh perspective, she quickly became a local sensation. Today, ANNA has firmly established herself in Lisbon, a city that pulsates through her music with its vibrant nightlife and cultural richness.
ANNA’s connection to Lisbon is profound. She describes the city as a source of endless inspiration, influencing her eclectic sound that spans ambient, house, and techno. “Few places make me feel as stimulated, inspired, and fulfilled as Lisbon. It’s a city where I feel totally at home and at peace,” says ANNA. This deep-rooted connection is evident in GU46: Lisbon, where each track is a testament to the city’s diverse and lively spirit.
The album is a showcase of ANNA’s versatility. It features an array of new and exclusive tracks, including her intense and exotic single “Kalimba Dreams,” released on April 5th. Another highlight is “Ignite,” a powerful collaboration with Rebūke. The album also includes specially written pieces by Wehbba, Paul Roux, Victor Ruiz, Tao Andra, and Binaryh, further enriching its sonic palette.

ANNA explains her selection process for the album: “I chose music that makes me feel the way that Lisbon makes me feel and selected the full spectrum of my music taste, including ambient, house, and techno. So there’s this sense of aliveness, of uplifting energy that reflects the diversity of the city.”
The album is structured to reflect different facets of ANNA’s musical identity. CD1 presents the softer, groovier, and more ambient side, while CD2 delves into the energetic club music she is renowned for.
